Dr. Shanhong Guan joined ALX Oncology in April 2021 and has served as our Vice President, Biometrics since January 2024. Prior to joining us, he was with Nektar Therapeutics from August 2019 to April 2021 where he served as Director, Biostatistics. Previously, Dr. Guan was Associate Director, Biostatistics at Pharmacyclics/AbbVie from 2016 to 2019. From 2013 to 2016, he served as Manager, Biostatistics at Gilead Sciences. From 2011 to 2013, Dr. Guan was at Sanofi as Manager, Biostatistics. From 2007 to 2011, he served as Biometrician at Merck. Dr. Guan received his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
