Dr. De Almeida has served as Vice President, Head of Research Program Development since May 2024. She joined ALX Oncology from 3T Biosciences, where she most recently served as Vice President of Program Development. Prior to joining 3T in 2021, Dr. De Almeida served in roles of increasing responsibility across Preclinical and Product Development at Sutro Biopharma. Prior to Sutro Biopharma, Dr. De Almeida was a Senior Researcher in the Oncology Group at Genentech (gRED), where she also completed her Postdoctoral Fellowship. Dr. De Almeida holds a Ph.D. in Cell Signaling and Endocrinology from Northwestern University and M.S. Biotechnology from the University of Poona, and a B.S. in Microbiology from the University of Bombay.
